Day 1: Arrival – Airport to Habarana / Sigiriya
Your journey begins as you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, where you will be transferred to your hotel or villa in Habarana or Sigiriya for a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 2: Polonnaruwa & Sigiriya Lion Rock
After breakfast, explore the ancient Polonnaruwa Kingdom and the ruins of Buddhist shrines that date back to a unique era in Sri Lanka’s history. In the afternoon, visit the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and enjoy breathtaking views from the top. Return to your hotel in Sigiriya for the night.
Day 3: Dambulla Cave Temple, Spice Garden, & Kandy
Start the day by visiting the stunning Dambulla Royal Cave Temple and the Golden Temple, followed by a visit to a Spice & Medicinal Garden in Matale. In the afternoon, travel to Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural capital, and visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kandy Dance Performance. Spend the night at your hotel in Kandy.
Day 4: Kandy Botanical Gardens & Tea Factory
After breakfast, head to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, home to a vast collection of flora. Later, visit a Tea Garden & Factory, where you will learn about the tea production process. Enjoy the serene atmosphere and spend the night in Kandy.
Day 5: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya – Exploring Little England
In the morning, travel from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya, also known as “Little England” for its colonial charm and cool climate. On the way, enjoy scenic views of waterfalls and lush greenery. In the afternoon, explore the highlights of Nuwara Eliya, including the Lake Gregory and the Victoria Park. Overnight stay at a cozy hotel or villa in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 6: Nuwara Eliya to Ella – Scenic Train Ride & Little Adam’s Peak
Embark on a scenic train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella (Nanuoya Station), considered one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world. Upon arrival, visit the famous Nine Arches Bridge, a marvel of engineering, and climb Little Adam’s Peak for panoramic views. Spend the night at a picturesque hotel or villa in Ella.
Day 7: Udawalawe National Park & Elephant Transit Home
On the seventh day, visit Udawalawe National Park, a wildlife sanctuary renowned for its elephants and other animals. You’ll also visit the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, where orphaned elephants are rehabilitated before being released into the wild. Spend the night in Udawalawe.
Day 8: Udawalawe to Galle – Explore Ancient Galle Fort
After breakfast, travel from Udawalawe to Galle, known for its ancient Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the fort, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, and then visit Hikkaduwa Turtle Beach. In the afternoon, learn about the impact of the 2004 tsunami at the Tsunami Memorial and visit the Moonstone Mine for a glimpse of Sri Lanka’s unique moonstones. Afterward, head to Bentota for an overnight stay.
Day 9: Departure – Return to the Airport
After an enriching and adventurous vacation, we will transfer you to the airport for your return flight to your home country.
